If you use an inventory management system that supports bundles/kitting natively you don't have to configure anything in Inventory Planner. We will automatically detect bundles and re-assign all sales to their products. You will only see sellable products in the replenishment report and the forecast will be based on the combined sales (all bundles + product sales).

For e-commerce platforms such as Shopify, BigCommerce and others that don't support bundles by default there are two separate stages:

  1. Use an application from their market place to create bundles and manage stock for them. Inventory Planner does not do it.
  2. Mark bundled products on Inventory Planner side. It allows us to maintain accurate sales for components when a bundle is sold.

To mark a product as bundle in Inventory Planner go to variants details on the replenishment page

Then mark it is "bundle" and add all components with corresponding quantities

Once a bundle is configured you will be asked to recompute sales for your store. After the recompute bundles will disappear from the replenishment report and the forecast for component will be based on the combined sales (bundle + product sales).
