In order to product accurate replenishment recommendations, you will need to set the lead time and days of stock for your products.

The lead time is the amount of time that elapses between placing a purchase order and receiving products. 

Days of stock is a period of time for which you’d like to have enough stock, or, in other words, the stock cover.

You can update lead time and days of stock:

  • By vendor (supplier)
  • Individually by variant
  • In bulk for variants

Updating lead time and days of stock by vendor

In the Vendor section (from the left side menu), select a vendor. by clicking on the name of the vendor.

In the Vendor Settings, change the lead time and days of stock and click Save.

You will then be prompted to update all variants associated with that vendor. Click 'Update Variants'.

Updating lead time and days of stock by variant

To update the lead time and days of stock for an individual variant, you have two options.

Update variant in Vendor > Variants.

In the Vendor section, click on the Variants section.

In the Lead Time and Days of Stock columns, type the updated information. 

Update variant in Replenishment

In the Replenishment screen (from left side menu), type updated information in the Lead Time and Days of Stock columns.

Updating lead time and days of stock in bulk for variants

You can change the lead time and days of stock for products in bulk in the replenishment report. In order to do so:

  • Filter products the way you want
  • Select products using checkboxes on the left
  • Click on Bulk Actions -> Set Lead Time and Days-of-Stock
  • Change the lead time and days of stock
  • Click on Apply Changes
