Overview page

The Overview page is your homepage. It provides an at-a-glance view of your key metrics, including:

  • Your current stock value

  • Pending purchase orders

  • Replenishment needs

  • Overstocking

  • Best-selling items

Tip: Learn more about the metrics and calculations mentioned in each panel in our glossary of terms.

You can filter this information by warehouse using the dropdown menu on the top of the page.

Access the Overview page at any time by clicking the home icon on the left-hand side menu.

Note: The Overview page cannot be customized.

Stock panel

The stock panel displays a summarized view of your variants, including:

  • Number of variants

  • Number of variants in stock

  • Stock units

    • Total number of units in stock across all variants

  • Stock cost

    • Total cost of all inventory

  • Stock retail

    • Total retail value of all inventory

The panel also displays a graph detailing the stock retail figure broken down by vendor. Hover over a segment to see the stock retail figure for that particular vendor.

Purchases panel

The purchases panel displays a summarized view of your purchase orders, including:

  • Number of active (open) purchase orders

  • Number of overdue purchase orders

  • On order units

    • Total number of units on order

  • On order cost

    • Total cost of the units on order

  • On order retail

    • Total retail value of the units on order

The panel also displays a graph detailing the on order cost figure broken down by vendor. Hover over a segment to see the on order cost figure for that particular vendor.

You can click the Purchase orders link to be taken to the Stock orders report, where you can view all of your purchase orders in more detail.

Top variants to replenish panel

The top variants to replenish panel displays five variants in need of replenishment that Inventory Planner recommends actioning first.

For each variant, the panel details the variant’s:

  • Title

  • Current in stock figure

  • Replenishment recommendation

  • Replenishment cost

  • Replenishment retail price

It also displays a link to the replenishment report where you can view more information about the variants to be replenished.

Replenishment panel

The replenishment panel displays an overview of your total replenishment needs. It details your overall:

  • Replenishment units

  • Replenishment cost

  • Replenishment retail

Forecast panel

The forecast panel shows you a summary of your forecast for a period you can define. For that time period, you can view:

  • Forecast sales

  • Forecast revenue

It also displays a graph of your forecasted sales. Hover over each point in the graph to view the forecast for that month.

Overstock panel

The overstock panel displays an overview of your overstocked variants. It details your:

  • Total number of overstocked variants

  • Overstocked units

  • Overstocked cost

  • Overstocked retail

Top overstocked variants panel

The top overstocked variants panel displays five overstocked variants which Inventory Planner recommends actioning first.

For each variant, the panel details the variant’s:

  • Title

  • Current stock

  • Closing stock

  • Overstock cost

  • Overstock retail

It also displays a link to the overstock report where you can view more information about your overstocked variants.

Best sellers panel

The best sellers panel lists your top five best-selling variants, vendors or categories.

You can toggle between each display using the tabs on the top-right hand side of the panel.

The panel displays the number of sales, the COGS, and the revenue for each row.

It also displays a link to the Inventory KPIs report, where you can view more information about your best sellers.

Sales panel

The sales panel displays a summary of the sales you’ve made over a selected time period. For the time period, it shows:

  • The number of orders

  • The number of units sold

  • Total cost of goods sold

  • Total revenue

At the bottom of the panel you’ll see a graph of sales over the period. Hover over the graph to view the number of sales each month.
