You can import forecast overrides into Inventory Planner to adjust the forecasts of several variants at once.
To import forecast overrides, on the Imports screen, select "Forecast override", then click "Upload file" at the bottom of the page:
Building an import file
Create a spreadsheet including the information you want to import, making sure each column has a header:
Column name | Required | Column type | Comments |
SKU Barcode Title ID | β | Text | One of these four columns is required to act as an identifier. |
Month | β | Date | Format as |
Forecast override |
| Number |
|
Forecast revenue override |
| Number |
|
Forecast adjustment % |

Warehouse | β | Text |

You can download a CSV template to help you build your file. Once you've built it, either drag and drop your file into the upload area, or click the upload area to select your file from your computer. Then, click "Map columns".
Note: Each row should only contain data in one forecast override column, i.e. each row can have a single entry in either units, revenue or as a percentage.
Mapping fields
Map your columns in the file to Inventory Planner fields. In addition to the columns in the file, you have some options to configure:
Match by
Choose which identifier you're using in your file, and which column they're held in.Warehouse
You can choose which warehouse to set the warehouse settings fields for if not already present in the file, or choose "All warehouses" to set the fields for every warehouse.Keep previous forecast override for other months
Enable this option to only update the months included in your file. If disabled, any overrides not included in the file will be removed.
Once you've mapped all your columns, click "Import".
Inventory Planner will process the file. Once the file is processed, you will be presented with a summary of the changes made and a list of any errors that were triggered.
